IMC 2026 to showcase next-generation connectivity, AI, semiconductors, quantum communication and emerging digital technologies
New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 10th edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026 at around 10 AM on October 8 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.
The four-day event, being organised jointly by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), is being held from October 7 to 10, 2026.
The theme of IMC 2026, “Scale Without Boundaries,” reflects India’s expanding capabilities in digital innovation, next-generation connectivity and technology-driven economic growth.
Four pillars of IMC 2026
The 2026 edition is structured around four key pillars:
- Srishti – Building the Future
- Samvardhan – Fueling Growth
- Sashakt – Expanding Opportunities
- Suraksha – Strengthening Trust
The Congress will focus on innovation and next-generation digital infrastructure, technology-led economic growth, inclusive access to digital technologies, and the creation of secure and resilient digital ecosystems.
IMC 2026 is expected to bring together global technology leaders, policymakers, industry experts, startups, investors and innovators to explore emerging opportunities across the rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.
Focus on nine anchor sectors and four emerging domains
The 2026 edition will cover nine established anchor sectors, including 5G and 6G, next-generation AI networks, semiconductors, non-terrestrial networks, cyber security, quantum communication, enterprise transformation, circular economy and ESG, and electronics manufacturing.
The event will also broaden its sectoral scope by introducing four additional domains: smart mobility, stadium experiences, industrial robotics and transport technology.
Over 1.5 lakh attendees expected
IMC 2026 is expected to attract more than 1.5 lakh attendees from over 100 countries. The event will feature participation from 500+ partners and exhibitors, 600+ startups and more than 900 thought leaders.
The Congress will showcase over 2,000 technology use cases and host more than 120 sessions, providing a platform for discussions on emerging technologies, digital transformation, innovation and the future of connectivity.
The 10th edition of India Mobile Congress is thus set to provide a broad platform for industry, government, technology innovators and investors to engage on the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of the global digital economy.
